Actually, when the current preset is changed, the Solaris automatically stops abruptly all voices. For live purposes, it will be useful to have the possibility to avoid that.
The idea would be that the unused cores are directly available for the new preset, allowing the previous voices to keep using "their" cores. For example, if two cores are used by the running voices of the previous presets, the other ones could be use for new voices of the new preset. It is when the new preset needs more cores (for example because it uses an unison of 10 voices) that the Solaris kills the "old" voices.
Two options could be possible:
1. When the preset changes, a note off is sent to all running voices.
2. When the preset changes, the running voices are still running as far as the corresponding keys are not released (or the corresponding MIDI note off sent). This is, for example, the behavior of the Andromeda A6.
I know that this is probably not something easy to implement, but it would be useful.

Yes, it would be nice. We will have to see what can be done with the Rev 2 hardware.
