a little 5mb demo of the z1 staircase lfos - they are not that odvious at times , no sequencing here - all lfos .I wondered if the solaris 4 lfo can modulate each other so 1 does 2 does 3 does 4 and 4 does 1 ?

Hi john , i know specs are probably pretty final but did you consider the ability to record joystick movements? and then when you play keys it triggers these movements ? i think the tg 33 did this to some degree ?

i will agree - focus i feel should be on new ways to mutate sounds and create new sounds . . . i dont need another vintage analogue emulator or sequencer but some new sounds that sound like they are Really from heaven and ways to create beautifull sounds that sound like nothing else.I am kind of ...

its at this point i think - is it a synth with some sample ram for user tables etc or a synth / sample resynthesiser . . .I would love to see the ability to load long sections of sound and crossmorph these etc and mutate but then maybe were moving away from the Solaris as a synth ? my dreams always ...

i think the solaris ' character ' is quite evident even via what demos we have . . . .seems very able to do prophet / ppg / waldorf like stuff ( in a kind of cleaner way ) aswell as all the usual other bits and pieces.I harte to say it but it sounds really waldorf blofeld like ! not a bad thing ...

meant to also ask john if the user samples will be internally stored on powerdown ? seems theres always been a gap in the market for a synth which was equally a good sample resynthesiser and synthesiser ( with decent ram of at least 256mb ), the oasy has addressed this with massive memory for user ...

. most studios are quite small but have 7-8 foot ceiling ? so go up i say . . . 12ru rack . . .i have basically had to do this , go up and have walls of stuff . . . i can see it will be hard john and i personally think your keyboard interface is spot on - would be great to just try and stack upward ...

just caught the demo in sonic state and the solaris sounds beautifull.The ability to use your own wavs or create stuff is very appealing to me , for sound design i am sure the solaris will be amazing with its built in stuff but i just love the idea of using some very unusual samples as sources also ...

The problem for me a simple one and its the same for 10000's of others , i dont have room for 2 master keyboards but can accomodate racks.How many more like me i wonder ? I can list countless synths i would have bought if they had been rackable but havent been able to accomodate.User studio space is ...

will the solaris have any ability to allow the user to load their own samples and waveforms to be used as oscillators and also with the wavesequences ?
