John, or anyone in the know, how much Zarg Quantum Wave type functionality will be included in the Solaris? I'm very much interested in getting as close as I can to the functionality of the Waldorf Wave or any of the Microwave series.

Please note that all units from the first build have now been reserved. Any pre-orders made after today will be for a late September delivery.

A Virus TI keyboard lists for $3460US, and sells for $3140; The desktop model lists for $2520, sells for $2290; Given that the Solaris is currently at $4K, I think it would be a pretty amazing job on JB's part if he can get a 3u desktop model out the door for under $3K.

with that in mind, I would estimate a Solaris 2 or 3u rack module, with one graphics display and limited I/O, to run around $2300.

I guess the bottom line at this point is pacifying the pre-order customers. They're a needy bunch, them.

Holy kee-rapp! How did I miss this? I was planning on getting the iPad2, but now it's getting just so ridiculous! Better hurry up with that Solaris JB, before someone comes up with an app for that!! :lol:
