I’ve tested several pedals, but it may be that your footswitch polarity is negative, where the factory standard is a + polarity.
Check the 2nd page of your Home button menu, and try adjusting the polarity for SusPedal 1 to negative (-). See if this setting works for your Sustain pedal.

In the current OS, this polarity is stored with each preset, but this should be changed in an upcoming version. For now, you will need to re-program any presets that you want to use your sustain pedal...( sorry about that!).

Has anyone else tried to use a sustain pedal with their solaris? sustain doesn't seem to work on my unit.
