Videos from Music Messe 2010

I was having fun showing off some of the new features of the Solaris that were completed just a day before Messe, and Nick Batt from Sonic State came by the first day of the show to catch up on Solaris developments. If you'd like to see the latest on the Solaris, please head to the following link:

A few days later, came by with their cameras, and did a fairly long session with me going over what had changed since last time they saw the Solaris. You can catch both parts of their video review here:

I've written some articles as a follow-up to my monthly column that appeared in German Keyboard magazine. I hope you find it a fun and fascinating look into the synthesizer design process, and perhaps inspire some of you to take your own adventure exploring and creating with the SCOPE design software. First we start with a bit of background information...

The Frankfurt Musik Messe 2009 is over!

Now that Musik Messe 2009 is over, I'm looking forward to getting the final v1.0 of Solaris completed. We had quite a few visitors from Germany, Russia, Poland, France, Switzerland, Italy, and even Brazil (!), although overall, attendance seemed down at this year's show. Many other respected companies (Digidesign, Native Instruments, Access, DSI, G-Force) were not in attendance, and most felt that the current economic climate was the main reason behind the lowered attendance from both manufacturers and their customers.

Synthwire - "A Weekend Visitor..."

Monday, July 14, 2008: I have a neighbor who is very active in the synthesizer community. He goes on most forums by the name of 'Carbon111' and has previously had a chance to get hands on with one of my prototypes. I recently again decided to take the prototype over to his house to give him more hands on time, and he's put his impressions up on Synthwire.
